Engagement Series
A programme of accessible, inclusive, informative, skills-based, & inspiring events and offerings : Co-created with, and for, our wider community.
We;
- curate an Autumn and Spring programme on an ongoing basis
- curation and organisation begins 3-6 months before the oncoming season
- have limited capacity to collaborate with everyone who applies - atm we are looking at increasing our capacity through seeking additional funding.
Example programme events and offerings:
- Film Showings (such as We the Uncivilised)
- Art Exhibitions
- Performances
- Non-conferences
- Panel Discussions (such as food justice fortnight)
- Regenerative Careers Fairs (such as Proper Job)
- Networking / Gatherings (such as Educators Unite)
- Fundraisers / Parties / Celebrations / Shared Meals (such as our Winter Warmer)
- Skill-shares
- Workshops / Trainings / Courses (such as Participatory Education)
- Art of hosting / Sharing Circles / Way of counsel
Why collaborate?
- Increased heads (ideas), hearts (passion), hands (practical support) by working together
- Increased amplification - we can bring our platforms / audiences / networks together for further engagement
- Increased diversification and shared learning : manifestation of new offerings / blendings of practices of expertise
- Shift is a community interest company with insurance, health and safety protocols, and a long established history of running events. This provides a legal and safe container for others to work within
